Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark is an adventure movie classic that launched an entire franchise and inspired many other famous adventure titles like Tomb Raider.
I don't see much sense now to grovel about the plot - I think everyone already knows everyone. Dr. Indiana Jones is recruited by the CIA to search for an ancient biblical artifact - the Ark, which contains the original Ten Commandments. And as if this task in itself is not difficult enough, so also the Nazis are hanging on the tail of the famous archaeologist - the Fuhrer also wants to get an occult powerful object. And it all pours out into a great adventure with chases, fights and other joys of life.
The film boasts a great atmosphere, dynamic storytelling and good humor. The tape looks literally in one breath, and the amazing music of John Williams gives a special flavor. The title theme of Indiana Jones is one of the most recognizable tunes on the soundtrack, and deservedly so, it has a sense of adventure, adventurism and some kind of fervor. Amazing work.
And of course - Indiana Jones would not be himself if it were not for Harrison Ford. The iconic role of the famous actor, which, along with the image of Han Solo, brought him immense popularity and love of fans.
Let now 'In Search of the Lost Ark' in some places looks already outdated, and fights sometimes look very funny - it's still a Classic, with a capital letter. I am pleased to periodically review this wonderful film, which is what I wish for you.
