Reading the numerous reviews of the third 'Shrek' I involuntarily wondered if this cartoon is as bad as they make it out to be. Having watched this creation I completely refute the words of pseudo 'critics', who consider the 3rd part the worst in the series. And why so let's understand.
Let's start with the plot, in this picture I liked it more than the previous ones, don't think wrong, 'Shrek 2' was also a cool cartoon, but for me it's on the level of the first part, it's as interesting and mesmerizing as the 1st part, but the third part stands out from all of them. Firstly, the story here is the most down-to-earth, telling of Shrek's 'human' affairs, his quest to become a father, and the agony he experiences. The trepidation with which this is presented is simply a joy to behold. This is the most dramatic part of all, personally for me, every single frame can be applauded, because from a visual point of view everything is done with quality. Secondly, the story itself is interesting to watch, if 2 and 1 parts revealed Shrek, + as a kind, selfless, in some way reverent personality, then here it is not necessary to do it, he has already been revealed in the previous parts, here the emphasis is not even on Shrek himself, but on all the characters at once, making them involuntary participants of the main process of the movie.
By the way, I want to talk about the characters. Here everything is the same as always, the donkey and the cat in boots are just as wonderful, they are also revealed from new sides, showing other aspects of their personality. I'm glad that the secondary characters such as: Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, etc., do not make a hundred percent heroes, because it is the right concept of the cartoon, a departure from the usual standards, and monotypically prescribed characters.
Music - this is the strongest side of the movie, despite the fact that it was less than in the first part, it played in the right places, and the compositions were the brightest compared to previous parts.
Overall, I liked the movie very much, I would even say it was better than the previous parts.
