Here is the repetition of the fairy tale, which has already been retold more than once. Our attention is given to the first appearance of the characters, the origin, and from which we can conclude that the sequel will not make us wait long. The story is not new, the fairy tale is known to everyone.
On the one hand it seems too childish, on the other hand quite entertaining and epic. The main character by idea should be pitied and fully supported in the whole adventure. But no, in me he caused disgust and stupidity. Yes, and the actions of some of the secondary characters are also not ahti what logical. The minuses in the plot are visible from the beginning. Masking under a children's story can be forgiven a couple of moments. But not the actions of the main character.
Peter Pan. With this name, many viewers have a lot of pleasant memories, recalling at least the screen adaptation of 2003. In fact, we are shown a boy who not only does not know what he wants, but also blames everything around him. Small children may find it funny, but no more.
Blackbeard gets the most attention. This is a perfect character who expresses feelings and emotions in different ways. Here he is harsh and cruel, and in a second he is already making jokes with the team. You can't predict his actions, which makes him unpredictable. James Hook also looks logical and quite adequate against the background of stupid Peter. Yes, yes. This name is pleasantly cold to the heart, as you don't expect his appearance.
Hook is presented in a completely different perspective. And this image came out very well. By the finale, all the secrets and clues are revealed, colorfully playing out the poignant moments. The epicness of the characters' actions remained on good account, though it was short-lived. In the end, I didn't like Peter, and Blackbeard is perfect.
Hugh Jackman is just great. Seriously, the man drags the whole movie. Scenes where his character is absent can be safely flipped through to scenes where he appears. The picture is for kids and fairy tale lovers. Adults will find it boring and silly, but to plunge into nostalgia, it is worth a look. At least for the sake of Blackbeard.
