It's no secret that John Carpenter, the man who gave us Halloween, is a master of the genre. Watching his films is like just disconnecting from everyday life and how you should stretch your nerves.
In the late 90s of the 20th century, Carpenter gave us a fantastic thriller 'Prince of Darkness', which, surprisingly, was a success. Moreover, both from the side of the audience and in terms of cash registers.
The tape was shot very high quality and beautifully, although this is not surprising. The many visual solutions are simply pleasing to the eye, and the music of Carpenter and his assistant Alan Howarth is ear. Like half of its predecessors, it has a powerful, dark atmosphere. Thanks to this, it is simply not possible to tear yourself away from the screen. The topic of the main hero of the occasion and how he wants to penetrate our world is also well developed. True, all raspberries are spoiled by a hint of zombie motives, but you hardly feel it.
The film lived up to expectations, I recommend it to all fans of John Carpenter.
